Some students believe that if they have not been or are not currently sexually active they don’t need information on sexual health. If you’re in that camp, you need SHAW more than you know! Sexual health information is valuable for anyone with the ability to think, or feel. Is that you?

Learn something new each day of SHAW:
Monday, October 1st – Take a sneak peek into the world of sexual health. Learn about health exams and services offered for men, women and transgender people at the Tang Center; STIs and available testing options; and safer sex methods you can purchase or make on your own.

Tuesday, October 2nd – Having sex for the first time ever or with a new partner? Learn more about sexual debuts including how to negotiate your sexual wants, must haves and limits. Later that day come check out SHEPs new Sexual Debut workshop from 4:40 – 5:40pm in Tang Centers, Section Club.

Wednesday, October 3rd – Sexual pleasure. Need we say more? Learn how the human body responds to sexual stimuli and why; ways to increase your pleasure and enhance your overall sexual experience with sex toys, piercings, lube, and more! Satisfy your craving for more information with a workshop on body piercings with professional piercer and speaker, Paul King, in our exciting Decal class.

Thursday, October 4th – Dating and Relationships. Learn about various types of relationships and get sexy tips on communicating with potential and current partners. That evening, join esteemed panelists as they discuss how men can and are staying safe while using online sites and mobile apps, such as Grindr, Manhunt, A4A, Jack’d, Scruff and others to hook up and meet other guys with Hooking up Online: how gay/bi men stay safe and have fun, hosted by Berkeley Builds Capacity (BBC)!

Pull up your calendar app and save the dates, Monday, October 1st – Thursday, October 4th, 10am-2pm. Each day you can find SHEP interns and our DeCal students on Savio Steps. Along with helpful information, they will have fun and interactive games with prizes, as well as free safer sex supply samples. You can even take a picture with the infamous SHEP penis! All Cal students are invited and encouraged to attend SHAW 2012.
